What actually flows through those wires is a profound mystery. All we really know about electricity is that it is a way in which things behave when they are electrified- a set of conditions and results. If you're thinking, "Electricity is the stream of electrons" - all our scientists know about electrons is that they are "something unknown, doing we don't know what". And, as we'll see later, there are very M-W-W strict limits to what they'll ever know.
